The American Bison is the perfect quarry to round out your total hunting experience, and The Lodge at Chama is the perfect place to hunt these mythical creatures, in one of the most classic settings in the American West.
Our buffalo hunts focus on harvesting large, mature bulls but offer an option to harvest younger bulls. We are selective about which bison we harvest and only take a few each year. We have a self sustaining herd of buffalo in the game park that thrive in their natural habitat.
The Hunt
All bison hunts include two nights of accommodations in our lodge, gourmet meals and complimentary bar plus a one day guided hunt. Each hunter will have their own dedicated guide for these hunts. Guide requests are accepted but not guaranteed.These hunts are conducted similar to our private elk herd hunts. Spot-and-stalk techniques are utilized.
Pricing
Trophy Buffalo: $11,500 Per Hunter plus license fee.
Small Bull Buffalo: $8,500 Per Hunter plus license fee.
Cow Buffalo: $4,500 Per Hunter plus license fee.

Non-Hunting Guests: $640.00 per person.
Depending on schedule, many times we can add these hunts on to our general ranch elk hunts or private elk herd hunts.
